Guy Greco is the Co-Founder and Partner of Virtual CEO, Inc., a Leadership Development and Strategic Planning firm founded in 1998. The company provides products and services that allow clients to evaluate the leadership and business best practices that have the greatest impact on their organizational effectiveness and performance.
Mr. Greco’s primary areas of expertise are the design and delivery of Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness Programs and facilitating Strategic Planning sessions for senior executives. Guy has over 30 years experience delivering leadership development and effectiveness programs for leading companies and governmental organizations. Mr. Greco developed the Leadership 360 Assessment, QuadLead, used by his firm and licensed to several independent firms. He also designed the “Essential Leadership Skills Workshop (ELSW), which has been taught to over 4,000 managers and supervisors across multiple organizations. Guy’s leadership programs provide the skills and techniques leaders require to develop and sustain top performing employees; to give feedback to employees in a manner that leads to positive outcomes; to deal directly and confidently with performance issues to fairly balance the workload; and to build stronger teams.
Mr. Greco has over 20 years experience working with senior executives to clarify the Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic Direction of their organizations. Using the company’s proprietary business performance assessment, QuadStrat, Mr. Greco helps senior managers validate their baseline performance, identify current capabilities and constraints, and how to use this data to develop a business strategy moving forward. Strategic Plans developed with the help of Virtual CEO include Areas of Focus, Objectives, Action Items with Due Date, Resources, and Metrics. The key focus is execution of the plan. Plans developed with the help of Virtual CEO are living documents. They do not gather dust on a shelf.
Mr. Greco has designed and facilitated hundreds of programs for major corporations and multiple government agencies nationwide. Areas of expertise include: strategic planning, leadership effectiveness, executive coaching, communication, team effectiveness, and organizational alignment. In addition to his consulting background, Mr. Greco has held senior level positions at a major airline and at the nation’s fourth-largest Bank. Guy is also an accomplished speaker and has delivered keynote addresses for Fortune 500 organizations and the Department of Defense.
Mr. Greco is a published author. His first book, “Strategic Business Principles” is founded on the Virtual CEOÒ Organization Dynamic Model (Strategy-Design-Culture). His second book, Mastering Strategy: Insights from the World’s Greatest Leaders and Thinkers was published by McGraw-Hill.
